Jim has huge experience of serious crime but his expertise also includes fraud, corruption, health and safety, extradition, Public Inquiries, inquests, terrorism, Judicial Review and advocacy before regulatory bodies, including The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and the GMC. He has a focused, down to earth approach which combines with his intellectual ability to put him truly in a league of his own.

Jim is frequently engaged in advising in multi-jurisdictional disputes, advising from within the UK and also willing where required to  travel abroad.  He often appears in International Arbitration where there are corruption/fraud elements involved.

Jim has wide ranging experience of acting for interested parties and witnesses who are summonsed before Public Inquiries; in one notable example Jim acted for Mrs Shipman in The Shipman Inquiry.  He has also advised Companies and individuals as to their rights when summonsed to appear before Parliamentary Committees and various regulators.
